We had the most amazing Music Sail on July 10th. Lots of very
talented musicians delighted our passengers as we ghosted around Gloucester
harbor on a warm (finally!) summer night. It was amazing!
And if Celtic music is your
thing, you'll want to join us for a Celtic sail.
Michael O'Leary and friends, a variety of
Celtic musicians and singers, join us for an
afternoon of craic (that's Irish for FUN!). Totally Celtic, totally enjoyable!
This is a sail that will
undoubtedly be a highlight of your season. Tickets for these sails usually sell out,
so reserve your space early.
Tickets are $47.50/adults, $42.50/seniors, $35/kids.
What fun! Join us and see for yourself.

Our thanks
to all the wonderful musicians who have played onboard.

Greg Morrow, piper extraordinaire, pipes us off to another great evening
sail.

Fly Amero and Allen Estes
have played an acoustic night onboard the Lannon during each of the last
four seasons.
These
two musicians/songwriters have wowed us with their
amazing guitar playing and singing, as we have ghosted about Gloucester harbor on a
beautiful warm summer night.
They came back in 2009
on
Thursday, August 27th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Tickets were $40.00/person
It was an awesome night, as always.
To kick off the Music Sails in 2009, the Lannon
hosted a
Benefit Sail
for the Boston Celtic Music Fest on
Sunday, June 14th.

A 'crew' of BCMFest performers sailed for a floating fun(d)raiser
and sunset sail onboard the Schooner Thomas E. Lannon. A donation of $50
reserved a spot on deck of the 65-foot schooner as she sailed around beautiful
Gloucester harbor, while some of the Boston area's finest Celtic musicians* filled the air with
tunes and songs, all to rev up for and benefit BCMFest 2010.
*The lineup of performers
included fiddler Katie McNally, singer Michael
O'Leary,
accordion player Susie Petrov, harper Carol
McIntyre,
piper/whistle player/singer David de la
Barre,
guitar/bouzouki player and singer Sean
Smith, banjo/mandolin
player Steve Levy and guitar/bouzouki
player Lin Swicker.
